How Tesla wall can change the world

A few days ago I watched the Tesla new battery which is capable to store  10Kwh of Energy. This is actually a huge achievement. It is not like anything we have seen before. I think Elon Musk is a genius, I have always been thinking that. but he really is an inspiring human being with amazing capabilities.

The amazing thing about this new battery system is that it can not only be used for private usage but for bigger and scalable uses as well. the same battery can be stacked into a modular battery cell that can power cities and, countries and even the entire U.S!

The most amazing thing that I have came across like many others was the belief that in order to get enough solar energy for the planet we would need to cover 30% of the earth with solar panels. That’s actually not true.

2015-05-07_143941

The actual square that would be needed is extremely small compared to the size of the US and on top of that it would be on roof tops. so there won’t be any need for more space usage. the red dot in the middle is the amount of batteries that will be needed to store energy for the entire US.

Is this for real?

Yes My friends it is for real. we can stop the CO2 emissions, we can start right now. and you probably say that the solution will be extremely expensive. well one 10Kwh Battery costs $3,500 USD.  and on top of that Elon keeps all of their blueprints open sourced. This means that they let anyone else go into the market and make a change, design their own models and distribute them.

There is nothing more important than to stop the Co2 emissions and I am a big fan of Tesla. I really think many of use should stand up and shout that we want to go off coal burning methods. the world has to stop doing that for our next generations to come.

Here is the full launch video as well so you can watch it. It’s truly amazing:

How do you find smartphones with the longest battery life possible?

Hi guys,

If you are like me you are hooked on your mobile phone all the time. I use it with so many apps that always I find myself without a battery fast. I did a research to look for better battery life and found a great article that shows it all in one place and the results look pretty awesome however it’s not enough for me so I continued looking.

That awkward moment when you realize your flip phone looks goofier than your buddy who’s calling his wife on his wristwatch. No, this didn’t happen to me, but it’s going to, and soon. While a lot of today’s wearable tech is only as smart as the device it’s plugged into, we’re swiftly making progress towards this very scenario.

Of course, the concept of wearable technology certainly isn’t new, but it is in the burgeoning phase of becoming awesome. So to keep you connected to what’s here and what’s coming, we’ve put together a list of the coolest wearable geek gear we’ve seen so far:

Check email and social networks. Listen to music. Hail a car. Make a pot roast(or order one). Find a date. These are all things you can now do on your smartphone, which is pretty amazing. But for all the advances these handheld computers have made in the past few years, there’s one area that still needs improvement: Battery life.

This is an amazing post..

Dorkdaddy.com

4daysheader

letter It is a rare opportunity to be able to use a blog for genuine good. I share most people’s discomfort with “causes” and “fundraisers” but the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a friend and his family, a friend who did so much for a community that has made such a difference to me… well, it was a moral touchstone I couldn’t pass by. You have all been so patient with my Facebook and Twitter updates on the subject, and you have generously spent your precious time over the years reading what I publish here. Believe me when I say I appreciate it and am humbled by your consistent patronage. Thank you.

There are 4 days left in my dorky t-shirt selling campaign, from which 100% of the profits will go to the fundraising campaign to benefit dadblogger Oren Miller and his family after his recent stage IV…
